Grandpa`s Burger Box in Tonganoxie

There is a difference when it comes to fast food burger joints. Grandpa's Burger Box is it. Food from your own grill should taste this good. But if you want it fast, then I suggest you phone in your order... Ya can't rush perfection!

Hot a tenderloin. Was hot and seasoned just right. Called order in. Food was ready when we got there.

Food was good. I do wish they would stop using preformed hamburger patties.

Every since we stumbled upon Grandpas we can get enough of it or stop recommending it to friends and family. Delicious and affordable food and we have never had anything bad there. Great place to stop if you're ever in the area rather than going to some fast food chain. Highly recommended.

Dry burger, no flavor, not to mention the burger patty is way smaller than the bun and no ketchup or mustard?? I don't get it... won't be coming back.👎👎

Really good road side burger stand. I had a regular cheeseburger and onion rings. It was excellent. They don't stay open real late and are closed Sundays and Mondays, so if coming from out of town, check their hours first. We did the walk up order and sat outside. It didn't take them very long and it was cooked fresh. It's worth trying!

Very much worth the stop. Easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Just north of the Casey's gas station/C-Store. My second trip to the burger box.first stop I really enjoyed their club sandwich with a side of breaded deep-fried mushrooms. Mushrooms came with a side of ranch dressing, very very yummy! My most recent stop, fat boy hamburger, a double hamburger with all the fixings. Hamburger bun was buttered & toasted, nice and golden like the outside of a grilled cheese sandwich, excellent. Two patties, lettuce tomato onion, very fresh, adding dill pickle slices. Condiments served on the side. Homemade french fries like my mom used to make on the stove top. All in all the meal was really delicious! This is carryout only, no dining room. The menu is varied and will most likely have what you're looking for. You will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work Burger Box!

Fresh, made to order, deliciously naughty burgers... the hot cheeseballs are life-changing. We love going here. It's a lovely drive. The kids like it. We like it. I don't have to cook. Did I mention it's delicious? 🍔 🍟

Decent burger, not cheap, not amazing but not bad either. No place to sit in the shade, let alone on A/C. It literally is a box though.

Great home town burger stand. I am friends with the owner and she really loves sharing her passion for burgers with everyone. The food is great. I only wish she had a patty melt on the menu. Also, the fryed catfish is awesome.

I had wanted to try this place forever but they were always closed when I drove through Tonganoxie. I finally caught them open and I'm sad to say they didn't live up to the hype. The burgers were good but they were DRIPPING with grease...make sure to ask for extra napkins!

Good not-as-greasy burger joint. Made the trek from Spring Hill and was not disappointed.

Great burger but juicy enough to need maybe a heartier bun. Skip the cheese balls. Friendly service.
